part-time Business-to-Business Consultant

Position: part-time Consultant for business-to-business (B2B) and public private partnership (PPP) programmes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide information to Nepali companies regarding the B2B and PPP programmmes
  • Identify and evaluate Nepali companies as potential partners for the Danish companies
  • Assist the Danish companies visiting Nepal with travel advices, development of project concepts and other activities related to the B2B and PPP programmes
  • Assess applications submitted by the Danish and Nepali companies, appraise them and recommend the Embassy for the provision of grant
  • Provide the companies with necessary information and recommendations on the basis of B2B and PPP guidelines and administrative regulations and assist them in developing quality proposals
  • monitor projects and prepare status report periodically
essential qualifications:
  • MBA graduate
  • minimum of 5 years experience in business linkages and business development
  • sound knowledge and experience in supporting sustainable business cooperation between Danish and Nepalese companies

  • to provide ongoing support the the volunteers while they are in placement - personal welfare and pprofessional support
  • to collect and collate reports relating to volunteer finances and M & E
  • to network with other key partners
  • to coordinate a sustainability programme for the schools and communities when the volunteers have left the placement
  • overall to work with the programme unit to plan, implement, support and supervise the SPW Nepal programme

The Employer: Nepal BioGas Promotion Association (NBPA), an umbrella organisation of all the pre-qualified biogas construction and appliances manufacturing companies. Established in 1994, it was working in the field of biogas especially in promotional activities., training, self regulative, quality control and so on. It has 5 regional offices in different parts of the country.

Position: The Executive Director (one)
Person specification: A highly mitivated, skilled and result oriented Nepalese professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience and a proven leadership quality for implementation of envisaged vision and programmes of NBPA. The candidate should have excellent communication, interpersonal and proposal/report writing skills. Must have a Master's Degree in any discipline.

Position: Programme Asistant (five)
Person specification: Intermediate in any discipline or Junior Biogas Technician with at least 3 years of experience. Knowledge in computer a must; prificiency in written and spoken English. Positions are based in Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari, Butwal and Dhangadhi.
