Course title: Training on Project Management in the post conflict situation

Course Structure: This training course consists of two separate parts -
Module 1: paradigm shifts in development theories and practices; development projects in the context of the post conflict situation in Nepal

Module 2: Introduction to the project management - terminology, concepts and basic approaches to project management, project designing exercises through the logical framework that includes problem analysis, stakeholder analysis, objective analysis, work-plan and budgeting structures;

Module 3: Project implementation- project controlling, project monitoring.

Module 4. Project completion- documentation, evaluation.

Duration: 3 hours weekdays (Mondays - Fridays) for 8 weeks. There will be study materials and some individual as well as group exercises and you should be prepared to spare at least one hour a day to complete your assignments.

The training course will start as soon as there are 18-21 partcipants confirmed.

Eligibility: At least post graduate in any area of study (Masters degree); prior experience is an advantage but fresh post-graduates who are aspiring their career in the development cooperation sector will equally benefit from this course.

Methodology: lectures, seminars, group project work, unseen essay writing at the end of the course.

Training Course Fees:
- Staff members of INGOs/persons sponsored by institutions Rs.9,000; (10% discount for nomination of 2 or more persons) (additional 10% discount for women, dalit, janajati and madhesh origin)
- Fresh post-graduates: Rs.7,500;

Recognition: A certificate of attendance and completion at the end of the training.
