CAREER OPPORTUNITY - Country Representative

International Relief and Development (IRD) in Nepal having its Home Office in Arlington, USA is inviting experienced, committed and highly motivated candidate to join our team as country representative in Kathmandu.

The Country Representative will perform representational, program development, program management and general financial management and administration duties in support of the IRD's program development task order for Nepal.

Qualification and competencies for the position are:
• Master's Degree or equivalent
• At least 10 years experience in development sector with last five years as a senior program officer or program manager
• At least two years of business development and proposal writing experience in a similar organization
• Knowledge and understanding of the development context of Nepal
• Leading, managing and organizing skills
• Financial management skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English. Communication skills in Nepali is desirable
• Public relations, representation and networking skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
