Save the Children is an International non-profit organization working in Nepal and Bhutan to create positive and lasting change for Children. Save the Children invites applications for the following positions.
Program Coordinator Child Right Governance and Child Protection
Program Coordinator CRG and Child Protection will be responsible for the management of the overall technical and managerial component of the child protection program (Child Right Governance initiatives and child neglect, abuse, exploitation, violence, children affected by conflict, child rights violation, HIV/AIDS and trafficking). S/he oversees and contribute to the implementation of the CRG and Child Protection (CP) program in the regions including capacity building and technical support to partner.
Location: Save the Children Eastern Regional Office (Biratnagar)
Required Qualification: Bachelor in law or equivalent with at least three years of experience in Child Right and Child Protection programming from development organization.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Should be technically sound in Child Protection and Child Right Governance, ability to manage CRG and Protection Program in region, work independently & in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform. Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation, training and facilitation, writing programmatic reports, experience of research/survey, ability to coordinate and advocate.
