Golden Jubilee Scholarship Program from the Embassy of India for 2008/09 for Nepali students of graduate level

The Embassy of India has announced the golden scholarship scheme for the year 2008/09 for the Nepali students studying the graduate level (first year). Scholarships are announced for 100 seats in the following faculties:
Medical science - 25 (5 year course)
Engineering - 25 (4 year course)
Other faculties (Bsc. B.A. B.com. B.B.S etc) - 50 (3 year course)

Please read the notice of the Embassy of India published in the Annapurna Post (page 7 of Saturday, 22, 2008 i.e. 7 Mangsir 2065 for details onn eligibility, scholarship grants, priority reservations and application procedures and the data sheet. Alternatively, it should also be available at the website www.south-asia.com/Embassy-India.

There is a data sheet to be filled by the interested applicant which is available at the above website. There are additional documents also which are required to be submitted together with the data sheet personally or by post to the Embassy of India , P. O. Bos 292, Karpurdhara Marg, Kathmandu of Consulate General of India, Shreepur, Birgunj within 8 December 2008.
