Human Resources Manager

Employer: Care Nepal

Position: Human Resource Officer for its country office based in Kathmandu. This position is reserved for women candidates only. Preference will be given to competent dalit and marginalised groups' candidate.

Position description: the incumbent will work closely with the HR Manager and be responsible for HR management including recruitment and induction. S/he will be responsible for administering HR polices and procedures and maintaining HR database. S/he is also responsible for updating and managing personnel information and documents, update personnel files of all CARE staff and administer CARE benefits plan.

Duration: 3 years initially, renewable through a mutual agreement.

Competencies:
  • Knowledge of people management and conscious about employment management relationship
  • Familiar with standard personnel policies and procedures
  • Knowledge about insurance companies and their policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of benefit packages prevalent in INGOs
  • Tactfulness and skill to deal with people
  • Good communication skills in English and Nepali
  • Knowledge about the MS Office package
  • Knowledge of office filing system
  • Good team building skills

Qualifications and competencies:

  • Bachelors degree in management, masters degree in Human Resources will be an added advantage;
  • three years experience n human resources management.
